Valet Attendant
At Beacon Hill Hospitality, we look for people who want to help others not because it's their job, but because it's their nature. At this healthcare facility, the Valet Attendant is responsible for providing kind and empathetic service to all patients and visitors -- greeting with a warm welcome, assisting them out of their vehicles, safely parking and retrieving their vehicle and sending them on their way with a fond farewell.
Beacon Hill Hospitality Valets are true customer service professionals who inherently love to help others and are happy to eliminate any anxiety that can come with a hospital visit.
We have Full Time and Part Time Shifts available. All shifts are weekdays (no nights or weekends).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Open vehicle doors, greet guests, providing a warm welcome to each and every patient or visitor
Issue valet tickets
Promptly and safely park and retrieve cars
Maintain a clean working environment
Find moments to go above and beyond by anticipating patient and visitor's needs
Ensure the safe flow of traffic in the driveway/circle - directing traffic as needed
Assist with wayfinding
Ensure work environment is clean, safe and uncluttered
Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities (including but not limited to):
Possesses exceptional customer service skills
Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and clean driving record
Ability to drive a manual transmission preferred
Maintains a warm, friendly and professional demeanor when working with other employees, patients and visitors
Ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively both verbally and on paper
Ability to proactively solve problems, but also knows when to ask for help
For insurance purposes, must be at least 18 years of age and a clean motor vehicle record
Education and Experience
High School degree or equivalent
At least one year related experience strongly preferred
Physical Demands and Working Environment (including, but not limited to):
Valet Attendants are regularly required to run, stand, walk and sit. They must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 30lbs and be able to wear PPE (personal protective equipment) for the duration of their shift.The employee will be subjected to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
Valet attendants can expect to make $18+ / hour including cash tips.
