Overview:
Under the direction of the Director of Transportation, the Valet Manager facilitates the efficient operation and function of the Valet department.
Responsibilities:- Responsible for all areas of valet and traffic control.
- Hires, trains, develops, empowers, coaches, counsels, conducts performance and salary reviews, resolves problems, provides open communication vehicles, disciplines, and recommends terminations as appropriate.
- Reports all concerns and or problems to the Director of Transportation.
- Recommends and enforce department policy.
- Responsible for managing the department to achieve superior customer service.
- Coordinates with Human Resources and Risk Management all administrative paperwork.
- Establishes and maintains communication with risk management in order to resolve all Valet claims and incidents.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate incident reports for Risk Management.
- Responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repairs of all casino vehicles.
- Plans for and prepares department as necessary for events and holidays.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining department schedules.
- Establishes relationships with outside vendors and consultants as needed to ensure proper maintenance and repairs of casino vehicles.
- Responsible for maintaining all areas in order to provide a safe working environment for subordinate staff.
- Assists Director of Transportation with the development of the department budget.
- Responsible for maintaining vehicle counts for all casino garages.
- Creates and implements new training for Valet Supervisors.
- Enforces all casino and department policies.
- Prepares and analyzes reports for Director of Transportation Manager as needed.

- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED certificate.
- Five years’ prior experience in transportation including one year at the supervisor level.
- Previous experience in hospitality, sales, marketing, promotions, and/or public relations is preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, e-mail, and Internet.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
- Valid California Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to drive a manual and automatic vehicle.
- Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
