Job Highlights:

• Two shifts 7:30am -4:00pm or 8:00am -4:30pm
• Providing Vacation coverage
• Providing coverage when the department is not fully staff
• We have 2 concierges per day – one on each shift.
• The Concierges direct patients to the kiosk or a desk to be checked in.
• The assist patients with wheelchairs from drop off in the driveway or handicap parking to inside the building or up to the floors or back down again.
• They wipe down the kiosks after use and wipe down wheelchairs after each use as well.  
• PRN Position

Job Summary:

Provides valet parking services for facility patients and visitors. Provides assistance and information to incoming patients, visitors and staff to facilitate their entrance to or exit from the facility.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Parks and retrieves patient’s vehicles upon arrival and departure. Tags and stores keys.
• Directs and assists patient and visitors as they enter and exit the facility.
• Assists visitors with getting in/out of the vehicle and/or transfer to/from wheelchair.
• Keeps staging areas clear and maintaining smooth traffic flow in and out of the parking areas.
• Assists in emergency situations by directing emergency vehicles and maintaining traffic control as needed.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Constant use of hearing to receive oral communication and hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
• Constant use of vision for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more).
• Constant lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
• Frequent use of speech to share information through oral communication.
• Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
• Frequent standing, twisting and walking.
• Frequent use of vision to judge distances and spatial relationships and to identify and distinguish colors.
• Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, sitting, squatting, reaching, gripping and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
• Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing over 50 lbs.
• Occasional keyboard use/data entry.
• Occasional use of smell to detect/recognize odors.
• Occasional driving.
• Rare crawling, running and lifting/moving patients.

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
