SUMMARY: 

Network integration-Ammonia Compressor Omni control panels/Add Rosemont dP sensor in FM600 for display & blower control/Calibration pitot tube digital input into WT control room HMI.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Learn ammonia compressor Omni control panel operation. Create network integration for panels. Research & institute any req’d hardware/software.
• Research dP sensors. Select desired/required sized sensor.
• Add dP sensor hardware & wire the system for its automation & use.
• Mechanically assemble bench for update & program software for FM600 system.
• Learn WT airflow calibration and check procedures. Learn and understand pitot tube function, output, and set-up
• Implement wiring and software for digital input of signal in WT HMI computer.
• Learn Ed shaker operation and set-up. Work with test engineer/test technician to perform a test(s). Learn VR controller software for shaker control. Program it.

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Must be enrolled in a 4-year accredited university 
  • Major: Mechanical or Electrical Engineering 
  • Class Standing: Junior, Senior 
• Skills: Completed course work in fluids, heat transfer, electrical basics, communication, PC experience, and vibration and/or acoustic class or lab
• Overall GPA must be a 3.0 or higher
