We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Manager to join our Valuation Advisory Services practice.
CohnReznick is a hybrid firm most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.
YOUR TEAM.
This position will support our Valuation Advisory group. This group provides a wide suite of services to clients, giving you the opportunity to learn, grow, and build out your skills. As a member of this team, you’ll interact with team members across all levels within the practice.

YOUR ROLE.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Manage and deliver projects for valuation of complex financial instruments, including valuations for financial reporting (ASC 718, 805, 815, 820, 470, 842 purposes), tax, and transactions. Review third-party valuations for audit support.
- Train, supervise and review work of junior team members pertaining to financial modeling concepts, testing and documentation.
- Provide timely performance feedback and suggestions to junior staff members.
- Effectively communicate with clients, auditors, and other stakeholders. Serve as day-to-day point person on the engagement.
- Manage multiple projects while balancing scope, budget, and time constraints.
- Contribute to improving internal processes, procedures, policies, and models.
- Ensure quality control and accuracy of client deliverables.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships across firm service lines.
- Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, or other related fields. A master’s degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience with a large public accounting or advisory firm in valuing complex securities.
- Strong understanding of derivative pricing and techniques such as Black Scholes model, Monte Carlo simulation, and lattice models.
- Experience in valuation of equity, fixed income, and hybrid securities such as warrants, preferred stock, convertible debt, earnouts, stock compensation instruments, etc.
- Familiarity with programming tools such as VBA, R, Python, MATLAB.
- Experience with Bloomberg, Capital IQ and other industry data sources.
- Experience in intangible assets valuation methods such as MPEEM, Relief from Royalty Method, Distributor Method, etc., is a plus.
- ASA, CFA, FRM, CQF or related valuation credential is a plus.
- Excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Flexibility of work schedule to meet client needs required
- Ability to travel as needed.
