- Complete valve manufactures, valve maintenance, and repair courses
- Control of nonconforming
- Quality control designate responsibility and authority
- Use pneumatic and hand tools to assemble new and refurbished parts, such as valves, fracturing heads, and hydraulic cylinders
- Calibration, testing and trouble-shooting of valves measurement and valve related instruments
- Participation in field service calls, as required, at customer sites
- Responsible for personal safety and those around him/her
- Perform valve inspection to identify necessary corrective action, as authorized
- Install instrumentation/accessories as necessary
- Measure and record critical dimensions per manufacturer specifications
Job Duties: Remove and replace gaskets, bolts, and nuts. Removed valves so they could either get replaced or overhauled. Cleaned takes and vessels while also inspecting them to make sure they were fit for operation. Torqued bolts to specifications. Pulled bundles off exchangers. Completed first line breaks. Set up rigging for the job.
