Varsity Flag Football Head Coach - KENT PLACE SCHOOL

Kent Place School seeks a Varsity Flag Football Head Coach for the 2024/45 season.

Season: Spring (March 10 - June 15) Hours: 3:45 - 6:00 pm (games may finish later)

Qualifications:

• High school coaching experience required; collegiate experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and administrative skills.
• Ability to foster sportsmanship, teamwork, and skill development.

Responsibilities:

• Coach and instruct student-athletes in Flag Football fundamentals, strategies, and rules.
• Plan and oversee practice sessions, game strategies, and team management.
• Coordinate with the Assistant Athletic Director on game schedules, team tryouts, and conditioning.
• Supervise players at practices, games, and on school-provided transportation.
• Maintain records, enforce team policies, and manage equipment and uniforms.
• Act as a team representative, engaging with the media and school community as needed.
• Attend mandatory meetings, complete required training, and support special events.
• Adhere to best practices of diversity and inclusion so that interactions with students, colleagues, and other constituencies highlight awareness, competence, and sensitivity.
• Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Department.
