MUST:
Experience Vascular Technician - Registered
Must be Registered - Active Licensure to practice in Maryland
Highly professional, articulate, confident, compassionate, and team-oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills for all levels of customers
DUTIES:
Provide excellent customer care to patients, while conducting carotid artery and abdominal aorta screening exams
Can accurately document and quantify all calculations and measurements of cardiovascular parameters for inclusion in appropriate report forms.
Recognizes the significance of all structures visualized on the monitor and is able to differentiate normal from abnormal and recognize artifacts. Understands when to seek advice.
Prepares a summary of technical findings and reviews findings with technical director/chief technologist and/or interpreting physician
Maintains and documents emergent findings, when appropriate, and communicates these to physician.
Reviews surgical and angiography reports to follow patient's progress and to provide a means of reviewing the accuracy of the cardiovascular laboratory examinations.
