We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vegetation Management General Foreman to join our growing team.

Position Overview: As the Vegetation Management General Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing vegetation management operations, including the maintenance, removal, and control of vegetation to support infrastructure and land management projects. You will lead and supervise a team of field staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate daily operations of the vegetation management crew, including task delegation, performance monitoring, and training.
• Develop and implement vegetation management plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments of work sites to identify potential hazards and address issues promptly.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment usage, and personnel hours.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure all tools and machinery are in good working condition.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and technologies related to vegetation management.
• Travel and overnight stays when applicable.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in vegetation management, with a strong understanding of industry practices and safety standards.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred.
• Knowledge of vegetation control methods, equipment operation, and maintenance.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work in various weather conditions.
• Relevant certifications and licenses (e.g., CDL, ISA, pesticide application, first aid) are a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical or trade school education is desirable.
