About the Job
High School Diploma or equivalent. The ability to read, write and follow written and oral instructions in English.
One year of experience in a similar job driving 15-person mini-bus/van; geriatric and/or health care experience preferred.
Valid Georgia Driver’s License; No current violations within 5 years
Must qualify as a driver according to Wesley Woods’s standards.
Ability to lift at least fifty (25) pounds repeatedly; to bend, stoop and twist and push a wheelchair.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Working Conditions
Normal long-term geriatric health care residence and health care environments. May be required to drive in and be exposed to inclement weather. May work in physical plant conditions with exposure to hazards such as tools, chemicals, gas, electrical and HVAC.
