Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent. The ability to read, write and follow written and oral instructions in English.

One years’ experience in a similar job driving a 15-person mini-bus/van; geriatric and/or health care experience preferred.

Valid Georgia Driver’s License: CDL license preferred.  No current violations.

Must qualify as a driver according to Wesley Woods standards.

Ability to lift at least fifty pounds; to bend, stoop and twist and push a wheelchair.

Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Normal long-term geriatric health care residence and health care environments. May be required to drive in and be exposed to inclement weather.

This position will generally work 40 hours per week; however, the position requires a willingness and flexibility in working hours when necessary to fulfill job responsibilities including occasional evening or weekend work.  The employee is subject to personnel policies and procedures prescribed for all employees.
