Position Overview:
We are seeking motivated and customer-oriented team members to join our close-knit team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting and purchasing new and pre-owned vehicles, ensuring they have a positive and personalized experience. Our ideal candidate is passionate about cars, has excellent communication skills, and is committed to helping customers find the right vehicle to meet their needs. If you don't have lots of product knowledge, that's OK! We have a robust training program.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly, positive attitude and establish rapport quickly
- Guide customers through the entire sales process, from vehicle selection to to financing options.
- Provide detailed information about our Ford lineup, as well as preowned vehicles.
- Listen to customers' needs and preferences to help them make informed decisions.
- Offer test drives and demonstrate vehicle features and benefits.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of current inventory, pricing, promotions, and manufacturer incentives.
- Build long term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address and questions and concerns.
- Work collaboratively with the sales team and other departments to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in sales, particularly in the automotive industry, is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong customer service focus, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Abilility to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
