Accounting Manager First Choice Food and Beverage Solutions

 First Choice has an immediate opening for an Accounting Manager in our St. Cloud South Campus Office.

The primary responsibility of this position is to manage all phases of the daily First Choice accounting process. This includes inventory reconciliation, commission processing, monthly management reporting route reconciliation, accounts receivable, product accounts payable, and vault/office operations. 

Requirements

• Associate degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience
• Previous supervisory experience preferred

Essential duties and responsibilities will include

1. Supervising accounting clerks, with the assistance of the Controller, including hiring, coaching, terminating, performance feedback, training, work allocation, and problem resolution.
2. Processing monthly commissions including checks, statements, and vending management company reports.
3. Working with warehouse manager and route supervisors to balance monthly inventories.
4. Managing accounts receivable process.
5. Managing accounts payable process insuring all product purchases are paid at the correct prices and receipts are entered correctly for inventory.
6. Responding to vendor and customer telephone calls to resolve any issues.
7. Managing the vault processes and working in vault as needed.
8. Reconciling monthly cash deposits.
9. Monthly bank statement reconciliations
10. Compiling monthly management reports
11. Compiling monthly documents for financial statement reporting
12. Completing monthly vault and work schedule.
13. Setting up handhelds and troubleshooting handheld problems.
14. Responding to information requests from cold drink reps and managers.
15. Managing and supplying locks for service as needed.
16. Working with Streamware on software and handheld issues.
17. Performing others duties as assigned.
