Vendor Success Manager
The Vendor Success Manager leads strategic vendor programs to create collaborative supplier relationships with new and existing vendor partners, while developing and sustaining relationships with our key vendors. Communicates and conducts regular reviews of status and issues, defines escalation paths and methods to resolve, and provides clear and actionable feedback to drive continuous improvement in our vendor relationships.
In this role, you will:
- Develop new and existing relationships with key vendor partners.
- Act as the liaison for employees to navigate through Key and Regular suppliers.
- Coordinate supplier training programs for purchasing and inside sales team members.
- Act as the liaison for employees to navigate through Key and Regular suppliers.
- Assist in negotiating incentive programs and terms.
- Lead Supplier Onboarding programs, ensuring suppliers are set up and positioned properly through Origination to be more effective.
- Coordinate stocking position for various vendors with requirements planning and purchasing.
- Promote vendor engagement with purchasing.
- Negotiate pricing in coordination with regional marketing strategy and sales initiatives.
- Assist in evaluating vendors by category and rationalization of vendors.
- Supplier Score Card tracking and competitor comparison.
- Be responsible for identifying opportunities to reduce cost and work with manufacturers to establish the lowest cost across the company.
- Attend Field Marketing events and National Meetings across all regions.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in vendor relations, procurement or a related field is preferred.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel to attend vendor-facing events as required.
