Animal Medical Center of Hebron, a CareVet partner located in Hebron, IN, is looking for an experienced and compassionate veterinarian to join our small animal practice. This position offers a Six-figure starting salary plus production , generous signing bonus package, schedule flexibility, paid leave and more! We are open to an Associate Veterinarian or a Medical Director with a desire to lead our practice.

About the Hospital
AMC of Hebron is a full-service animal hospital located in Hebron, IN. We offer emergency treatment cases as well as routine medical, surgical, and dental care for canine and feline patients. Beyond first rate pet care, we go out of our way to ensure your pet remains calm and is treated like family. In addition to wellness care, surgery, laser therapy and more; we offer grooming/boarding and as needed emergency care.

- Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems
- Treat and dress wounds
- Perform surgery on animals
- Test for and vaccinate against diseases
- Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines
- Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments
- Prescribe medication
- Work closely in collaboration with team members to provide high quality care
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
- Licensure in the state/s candidate will be working
- Ability to show compassion to both pets and their owners
- Outstanding dexterity in handling animals while performing precise tasks
- Ability to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about the wellbeing of an animal
- Strong fondness and understanding of animals
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of animal behavior
- Ability to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research and surgery of animals
