Veterinarian at Amazing Small Animal Practice

Amazing Small Animal Practice is a well-established high volume spay and neuter small animal practice located in Gardena, California. We are typically staffed with 1 full-time veterinarian and additional on-call veterinarians as needed, we provide many services to provide the best comprehensive care to our patients, including Preventative Care, Surgery (spay/neuter) and In-House Diagnostics. We are looking for two licensed small animal veterinarians to do exams for clients 3-4 days a week as well as an additional veterinarian to perform surgeries. All applicants must have a current California veterinary license and be motivated, friendly, and compassionate individuals with excellent communication skills. Must be able to multitask effectively and have a solid foundation in medicine.

Overview:

Amazing Small Animal Practice is seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess a strong background in veterinary medicine.

Responsibilities:

- Perform medical examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of various animals
- Prescribe medications and administer vaccinations
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to provide comprehensive care

Experience:

The successful candidate should have the following skills and qualifications:

- Proficiency in dog/cat handling
- Ability to perform animal restraint and possess knowledge of animal physiology
- Experience with laboratory procedures and diagnostics
- Strong background in pet care, including veterinary critical care
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and animal anatomy knowledge
