Situated an hour north of Manhattan, Guardian Veterinary offers up both wide open spaces for hiking and apple picking, as well as the hustle and bustle of NYC at your fingertips. Our mission is to provide “Exceptional Care. Without Exception.” Our prodigious team operates in a state of the art 30,000 square foot fully renovated facility. We are one of the few to offer the best surgical suites and are a premier neurology center in New York. Our CEO, Dr. Jason Berg is board certified in Neurology and Internal Medicine. He founded Guardian Veterinary in 2018 committed to providing the best care possible to all our clients. We have a 24/7 Emergency Room in our Brewster, NY location and in addition we provide Neurology, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Surgery, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Oncology, Sports Medicine, Rehabilitation, Blood Bank and diagnostic imaging and laboratory services. Since our founding, Guardian Veterinary has grown to include locations in Middletown, NY, for ER Services, overnight and weekends/holidays as well as a General Practice in the Bronx, NY. Armory Dog & Cat Hospital is offering full-time or part-time Veterinarian openings for our General Practice in the Bronx, NY. Armory is willing to train if you are a recent graduate, but if you have experience, we will pay accordingly. We work with cats and dogs. We offer general services and handle most surgical procedures like foreign body obstruction, mass removals, spay/neuter, cystotomy and dentals.
We pay bi-weekly with direct deposit, offer medical benefits with dental/vision included, give bonuses, supply meals on busy days, we also offer many discounts on professional services, and assist our staff in every way we can with furthering and expanding their knowledge and skill-sets.
Guardian Veterinary is looking for someone that emits positive energy, conveys clear and concise messages in a friendly way, can think on one’s feet, embodies the ability to be a calming force in a chaotic time, aptitude to follow the ebb and flow of the day and change course as necessary, while staying within the guidelines and demonstrates exceptional judgement.

What you will bring to this role:
- Graduate from a Veterinary Medicine program and a love of animals
- The desire to continually learn, train and grow
- Some General Practice experience preferred, but not required. New graduates welcome.
- Must to open to working 5 days a week for full-time, Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm, with alternating Saturdays, 9:30am to 5pm.
