About the Job
PET Emergency Treatment is seeking an Veterinary Aftercare Patient Transporter to work with their PET Cremations team. The crematory is currently located in Big Lake; however, pickups are throughout the Valley and Anchorage Areas. A work vehicle is available for pick up routes, but staff are required to drive to PET Emergency Treatment, Anchorage.
The successful candidate will share our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients and the highest quality after-care to their beloved pets. Must possess a tactful, sympathetic, and respectful manner and have an impeccable work ethic.
Strong Communication skills and good administration and record keeping skills are required. Must be able to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision and pay very close attention to detail. Must possess valid AK driver's license, have a clean driving record and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Duties include but are not limited to: coordinating and communicating with hospital clients, maintaining records and documents, transporting cremains with ability to lift up to 100 pounds and ensuring proper identification of remains at all times.
This position is part-time and would be a great second job!
