Customer Service Veterinary Assistant or RVT/CVT/LVT position. AEHUC has been a part of the Raleigh community for more than thirty years! We are seeking highly skilled individuals with experience in veterinary medicine for positions as an veterinary assistant or CVT/ LVT. Candidates must possess the following:
· Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.

· Ability to deliver an outstanding experience to clients and their pets.
· Ability to work well with a team to deliver expected goals and outcomes.
· Ability to learn and utilize a variety of computer software programs.
· Ability to lift 40 lbs.
· Ability to work holidays, extended, and weekend shifts on a rotating schedule.
· Experience with or willingness to work with a variety of animals.
· Excellent communication and people skills.
· Passion for working with people and pets.
· Two years of related experience required.
Additionally, candidates may be asked to demonstrate knowledge and technical skills related to the position
Technical skills required, but not limited too:
Proficiency in venous blood draws
Proficiency in venous catheter placement
Ability to obtain vitals in canine and feline patients (exotics is a plus)
Proficient in monitoring of sedated/ general anesthesia procedure
Proficient in working in and around sterile fields

Salary: $20+ per hour
($25+ per Hour if RVT in NC)
