We are AAHA Accredited, Cat Friendly certified, and we are almost an official Fear Free certified practice. We see a good number of exotics including birds, reptiles and pocket pets.
We have a servant leadership style and are excited to grow our individual team members with our mentorship atmosphere and leadership program, as well as our technician program. Our newly renovated spacious beautiful hospital is located between Vernon Hills and Lincolnshire. Our team is excited to expand and are looking for a positive passionate individual with a growth mindset and drive to learn and grow with us! Compensation:
$18-22/hr

Responsibilities:Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have a strong desire to learn and grow in the veterinary industry
- The employee must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics, and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.
- Proficiency and/or commitment to training for a variety of skills ranging from but not limited to laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, surgery, dental and nursing skills.
- Ability to demonstrate patience and composure in stressful situations, and ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stay calm and efficient during a medical crisis.
- The employee must also be confident around pets.
How you'll make an impact:
- Provide patient care under the direction of a DVM.
- Record all pertinent medical, client and case related information in the patient record accurately with appropriate grammar, terms, and accurate information.
- Review medical records, estimates or discharge instructions with clients.
- Provide client care by scheduling appointments, taking payments, and check-ins.
- Assist the doctor in appointments and procedures, upholding the highest quality veterinary care.
- Maintain excellent client communication.
- Answer the phones in a courteous and informative way.
- Maintain and uphold the Core Values and Mission Statement of MVP.
- Assist in all daily duties for clinic care.
