Would you enjoy working in a growing veterinary practice that serves a wide variety of animals every day? Do you have a passion for maintaining clean, organized spaces and want to contribute to a medical environment? If so, we invite you to join our team!
We are a rapidly growing veterinary practice with two modern facilities in beautiful Oregon. Our hospitals, located in Myrtle Creek and Canyonville, see dogs, cats, exotics, wildlife, horses, and other farm animals.
We are looking to hire a part-time Veterinary Hospital Cleaner to maintain a clean and organized facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, is highly organized, and takes pride in keeping spaces tidy.
Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and sanitizing hospital areas
- Stocking supplies
- Sterilizing instruments
- Providing some care for hospitalized and boarding pets
This part-time position offers 2-3 days a week, typically Monday-Thursday from 2 pm - 8 pm (sometimes as late as 10:30 pm). Starting pay is $13.50 per hour during the first three months of training.
We are a drug-free workplace and require pre-employment drug testing. This includes Marijuana!
How to Apply: Please email your resume to pitty.weed.cvs@gmail.com, Attn: Pitty, Office Manager. Include a personalized cover letter that answers the following prompt:
If your mother had a critically ill pet, describe the level and quality of service you would hope she receives at her local veterinary hospital. Be as detailed as possible, focusing on the small but meaningful aspects of service you would expect from the team.
Due to the busy nature of our hospital, we kindly request all applicants submit their resumes and cover letters via email. Please do not call or visit our locations in person. As the Office Manager and Lead Veterinary Technician, I am often busy assisting with hands-on animal care and emergencies, so it is important that all applicants follow this application process.
