Surgical Technician/Assistant

As our Fort Worth location continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgical Technician/Assistant to join our exceptional team!
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Veterinary Surgery Technician who is ready to thrive in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for working independently while fully utilizing your skills, including anesthesia monitoring, surgical instrument sterilization, patient recovery, and more.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Veterinary Surgery Technician who is ready to thrive in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for working independently while fully utilizing your skills, including anesthesia monitoring, surgical instrument sterilization, patient recovery, and more.
Compensation:
- $19-$24/hr based on experience.
Schedule:
- 4-day work week (Monday-Friday)
- Day shift: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm
- Some on-call shifts required
- Weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent patient care and outstanding client service
- Calculate and administer induction medications
- Perform intraoperative anesthetic monitoring
- Safely restrain patients and manage phlebotomy and catheter placement
- Maintain surgical instruments, ensuring they are properly sterilized
- Adapt to the individual needs of each patient
Qualifications:
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or experienced Veterinary Assistant
- Minimum of 3 years of veterinary experience (Required)
- Strong clinical skills and a solid foundation in veterinary medications
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Committed to maintaining a positive, respectful, and uplifting hospital culture
