Description
JOB DESCRIPTION: + Under general supervision, assists the veterinarians and researchers in surgery and radiology, animal care, treatments, and diagnostic and preventative procedures. + Maintains medical records and inventory. + Provides non-surgical technical assistance to researchers as directed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: + A high school diploma or equivalent. + Three years of experience as a veterinary technician + OR a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of experience as an animal care technician + OR graduation from a two year veterinary technician program and one year of veterinary technician experience. + Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
