What You'll Do:
As a Veterinary Technician, you'll be a superhero for pets and their humans, making sure they leave our clinic healthy, happy, and wagging their tails. Here's a peek at what your day might look like:
- Caring for Patients: From taking vital signs to administering medications, you'll give hands-on TLC to our patients, making sure they're in tip-top shape.
- Assisting in Procedures: Whether it's surgery or a check-up, you'll be the right-hand helper, prepping instruments and providing gentle nursing care.
- Keeping it Clean: You'll make sure our clinic is a safe, clean, and comfy place for both pets and their people.
- Managing Medications: Safely handle prescriptions and medications to keep our furry patients on the path to recovery.
- Keeping Records: Update patient records to make sure we know all the latest about our four-legged friends.
- Communicating with Pet Parents: Keep owners in the loop with updates and important info about their pets.
- Smooth Operations: Help with managing inventory, maintaining equipment, and staying up to date with the latest veterinary care techniques.
Who You Are:
- You have a high school diploma or GED.
- You bring 2+ years of experience with veterinary appointments, surgeries, and nursing care.
- Ideally, you're a Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician (LVMT)—but we're happy to chat if you've got the right combo of personality, education and experience!
