About the Job
?Responsible for the oversight of clinical operations and clinical program development consistent with the overall system and institute long-term goals. The incumbent must maintain a comprehensive and long-range system wide view of the organization’s strategic plan as it relates to the impacted departments and divisions within the institute. A focus on quality, efficiency, fiscal performance, enhancement of educational initiatives, measurement of clinical outcomes and clinical transformation are elements of the role. They will develop and sustain ongoing collaborative relationships with various levels of leadership throughout the organization. They will articulate the vision, strategy, issues and values of the organization and institute to the associates and staff as well as effectively communicate the feedback from staff to institute leadership.
Job Duties:
- Oversee clinical operations and clinical program development consistent with the overall system and institute’s long-term goals.
- Provides leadership, planning, organization, staffing, coordination, and evaluation for organizations activities.
- Maintains clinical responsibilities consistent with appointment in respective clinical department.
- Work with department and divisional directors to enhance quality, add value, reduce clinical costs, and improve clinical outcomes.
- Aids in the oversight of provider performance in areas of expected work effort, chart completion, open encounters, and other areas as defined. Work with department and divisional leadership to resolve conflicts and disruptive behavior.
- Assists and supports the institute in the recruitment of personnel.
- Identify areas of opportunity to enhance patient satisfaction and service of the institute while developing and initiating plans to improve performance.
- Assists in issues and areas of concern as it relates to compliance with regulatory bodies and develops approaches to better enhance and rectify areas of concern.
- Assists in the development and implementation of monitoring performance to budgeted targets and actively support achieving institute and organizational fiscal goals.
- Actively participates in the strategic planning program for the institute.
- Supports the educational programs within the institute and works with educational and operational leadership in creating effective approaches to delivering care and training to physicians and students
