As the Vice President, Automation you will be responsible for the optimization of warehouse processes through the election, adoption, and continuous improvement of automation across the warehouse process paths.

What you'll do on a typical day:
- Lead a team of engineers and deployment leaders who will partner with regional operations leaders to deploy and optimize automation across the warehouse process paths
- Creates and develops the automation process strategy across the enterprise
- Assess and elect new technology to optimize process path automation in partnership with R&D team: receipt to put away, pick to ship, returns and inventory control, sustainability, and reporting
- Designs optimal integration with other technologies and IT implementation to ensure optimized flow is achieved across the process
- Responsible for designing and building total building flow utilizing integrated automation as the key driver
- Partners with regional leadership to build the regional commitments for automation / adaptive technology budget improvements
- Manage automation pipeline, ensuring that the regions have sufficient automation projects to achieve their automation P&L goals
- Partners with regional solutions, implementations, and operations leadership teams to align on piloting of new technology and realization of automaton P&L objectives
- Partners with the Director, Global Automation R&D to manage the transition from R&D projects to deployment
- Oversees the complete portfolio of automation deployments globally to ensure effective deployment and training
- Drives further alignment on sites to expand deployment of successfully piloted technologies.
At a minimum, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Science, or any related field
- Minimum 5 years proven experience leading disperse teams and managing in matrix environments
- Operational excellence trained
- Strong experience in leading process automation functions by building governance, principles, processes and methodologies
- Experience in growing automation capabilities in global manufacturing or warehouse settings
