What You’ll Do:

• Working with Business Unit Leaders to implement the Firm’s strategic business development plan
• Preparing annual business development budget
• Developing, monitoring, and overseeing all business development activity for the Electric BD team
• Conducting bi-monthly business development meetings
• Developing marketing, sales, and advertising plans
• Developing and maintaining quality relationships with clients
• Preparing and presenting presentations to potential and existing clients
• Assisting and participating in other business development activities as required
• Participating in preparation of responses to RFP’s
• Developing and presenting client proposals when appropriate
• Conducting annual performance reviews
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as necessary

Required Qualifications:

• 10-15 years Marketing and Business Development experience with electric utilities or with an engineering consulting firm calling on electric utilities
• College degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing
• Strong industry contacts
• Ability and desire to travel 3 to 4 times a month
• Must have a valid drivers license without restrictions
