Job Summary: Responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the system-wide facility investment plan for CaroMont Health. This position will oversee facility services, construction, real estate, and property management including operations, real estate assets, lease administration, infrastructure planning and new construction. This role will be responsible for a comprehensive plan to manage all facility investments, real estate assets and implement strategies to ensure long-term financial viability, performance and operational efficiency. The VP will be responsible for all activities and initiatives of facility services, construction, and real estate, including the planning, design and construction of all system facilities and the supervision of all outsourced third-party vendors, architects, contractors, engineers, consultants, brokers and developers. Performs leadership and management functions to direct departments in customer service, operational planning, performance improvement, regulatory & compliance requirements, budgeting, and staffing. Serves as an administrative liaison to assigned committees and will partner closely with the Accounting, Budget, Procurement and Legal teams.
Qualifications: Graduate degree from a recognized college or university in Business, Leadership or related field required. Minimum of 10 years of progressive responsibility facilities and real estate leadership experience required, with at least three years in healthcare preferred. Prior experience creating and managing a comprehensive real estate asset, property and facilities plan is required. Ability to effectively lead to achieve sustainable operational and financial results. Theoretical knowledge and effective deployment of High Reliability, Change Management/Leadership and Continuous Daily Improvement. Daily leadership behaviors demonstrate CaroMont CARES Values.
