Position Overview:

StandardAero is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President of Supply Chain to lead and optimize our supply chain operations. This role will be pivotal in driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliability across our supply chain functions. The VP of Supply Chain will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that enhance our supply chain capabilities, align with organizational goals, and support our commitment to excellence in the aviation industry.

SpecificResponsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the supply chain strategy to align with StandardAero’s business objectives, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of products and services.
• Supply Chain Optimization: Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationships, to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
• Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the alignment of supplier performance with company standards and goals.
• Sub-contract Management: Experience in leading and executing complex sub-contract negotiations as well as develop a team with skills in this area 
• Cost Management: Develop and manage budgets related to supply chain operations, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring financial targets are met.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain to ensure business continuity and minimize disruptions.
• Technology Integration: Leverage advanced technologies and data analytics to enhance supply chain visibility, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, maintaining high-quality standards across all supply chain activities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including operations, engineering, and finance, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of supply chain activities with overall business objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a complex, global organization.
• Industry Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices, preferably within the aviation and/or manufacturing industries.
• Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in leveraging data to drive decision-making and strategic initiatives.
• Technology Proficiency: Experience with supply chain management software and technologies, including ERP systems and data analytics tools.
• Global Perspective: Experience managing supply chains in a global context, with an understanding of international trade regulations and practices.
• Additional skills- Experience in implementing and sustaining a Sales, Inventory, & Operations planning (SIOP) process
