Compute/Storage Deployment Engineer

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Deployment Engineer – Compute/Storage to join our Deployment Engineering team. This role is located in Lake Mary, Florida/ Pittsburgh, PA – HYBRID (2-3 days in office required).   Candidate must reside within a commutable distance to this work location, as we are unable to accommodate 100% virtual work arrangements. 

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

• Work alongside multiple teams to plan, coordinate, and execute the deployment of new resources, including servers and storage infrastructure 
• Utilise deployment scripts, tools, and processes to complete and streamline deployment activities
• Collaborate with the operations and pure engineering teams to ensure deployments are following standardised configurations and certification
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in compute/storage infrastructure and deployment

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred. 6-8 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience in a deployment engineer role, with a focus on Cisco, Dell and HPe infrastructure working on large scale enterprise-wide projects
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with Cisco UCS suite utilising UCS Director, VMware vSphere, Dell Open Manage Enterprise, HP Oneview and Digital Rebar or similar E2E tooling utilities
• Knowledge of scripting and automation skills, using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
