Essential Functions of the Associate Director, Central Region Advancement:
- Staff Leadership: Directly manage Program Directors and selected Associate Directors and Supervisors, coaching and guiding them to ensure that they successfully attain their annual objectives
- Finance: Responsible for sound fiscal management of all programs, identifying ways to increase revenue and decrease costs, analyzing financial reports, and working with program and finance staff to prepare, monitor, and achieve operating budgets.
- Relationships with Community Customers and Partners: Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and customers, including local CYF agencies, local CoC Boards, and other partners in the region.
- Board Liaison: Serve as a liaison with the CE Board of Governors, providing as-needed communications and updates on programs, staff, and other related issues; Work with the executive leadership to create a Regional Board of Governors.
- Program Quality and Development: Responsible for the development of new programs and the expansion of existing programs that align with the agency's Strategic Plan and the Northeast IL annual operational plan;
- Fundraising and Grant Development: Work with the Advancement team members to help secure funding for agency programs.
Minimum Qualifications for the Vice President of Central Region
- Masters Degree in Human Services.
- Work and supervisory experience in child welfare, youth-serving or non-profit organization.
- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience.
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience.
- License and vehicle to travel to work.
- Clear criminal, FBI, child abuse, and driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Five years of leadership and management experience.
- Experience with program development.
- Experience with Board Relations.
Physical Requirements:
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
- Able to climb in and out of vehicle multiple times per day.
- Reach with hands and arms and sit for prolonged periods at a desk, working on a computer.
