Position: Vice President of Finance
Location: Aurora, CO- Hybrid/ Onsite
Pay:$200,000-$230,000 + Bonus
We are seeking a strategic VP of Finance with experience in the manufacturing industry to oversee all financial aspects of our clients’ operations. The ideal candidate for this position will have an active CPA and have previous experience working with companies with revenue higher than 100M. The ideal candidate will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and ensuring the company's financial health.
Qualifications:
- bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- Proven experience as a VP of Finance or similar executive role in the manufacturing sector
- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Responsibilities:
- Review financial processes to identify efficiency opportunities.
- Evaluate accounting policies, procedures, and ERP software for cost and time savings.
- Optimize models, reporting, and analysis for Finance & Accounting.
- Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Supervise accounting functions, including AP/AR and financial reporting.
- Lead annual budgeting and long-term financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and financial laws.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights to executive leadership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support business decisions.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
- Liaise with the company’s accounting firm.
- Prepare and present financial statements and reports to executives and board.
- Implement risk management strategies to safeguard assets.
- Monitor and assess financial impact of business decisions.
- Manage cash flow and optimize fund utilization.
- Enhance cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS.
- Oversee preparation of financial reports for regulatory authorities.
- Foster continuous improvement and professional development in the finance team.
- Cultivate relationships with financial institutions and external partners.
- Represent the company in financial matters with stakeholders.
- Develop financial strategies and business sustainability plans.
- Act as primary contact for financial discussions with lenders.
- Communicate financial performance, investment opportunities, and risks.
- Improve financial reporting infrastructure for strategic decisions.
- Optimize capital structure to support growth objectives.
- Oversee accounting operations like AR, AP, and payroll.
- Establish and monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage tax planning and compliance with all applicable taxes.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience with financial software and ERP system SAP
- Familiarity with manufacturing cost accounting and inventory management
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to make sound business decisions based on financial data
