Job Summary:
The Vail Resorts Finance Team is committed to Building Leaders and Driving Value. Our Finance team is driven by top-tier talent to support and deliver against the Company’s strategic growth objectives as we continue to scale the business. As a public company with a market capitalization of approximately $7 billion, the team engages closely with the investment community on the underlying business model dynamics and the strategic growth drivers.
The Vice President of Investor Relations will lead the investor relations engagement strategy to build relationships, engage new prospective investors and ensure the Company strategy and financial position is well understood within the investment community. This role acts as the primary liaison between the company, its shareholders, investors, and the broader financial community. This position focuses on developing and communicating a clear understanding of the company’s financial performance, strategic vision, and value proposition, ensuring transparency and building strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. The role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and play a key leadership role with the Finance Senior Leadership Team and the Executive Team. This role will serve as trusted advisor to the CFO and be responsible for shaping and communicating the Company's business model and long-term growth strategies to drive shareholder value.

+ The budgeted range starts at $210,000 - $260,000 + annual bonus + equity. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience

Job Responsibilities:
+ Lead development of global IR strategy for communicating the Company business model and growth strategies, including proactive outreach and formal investor events (conferences, road shows and Annual Investor Meeting)
+ Lead the development of external messaging with key stakeholders and be essential to driving value creation
+ Organize and participate in investor conferences, roadshows, earnings calls, and other investor-facing events to communicate the company’s strategy and financial performance.
+ Oversee the quarterly earnings process, creating communication materials, drafting earnings releases, call scripts, accompanying presentations, as well as preparing talking points and relevant Q&A for CFO and CEO.
+ Rigorously and consistently assess the relative positioning of the Company in the marketplace and track global market, industry and comparable company trends. Provide strategic insights and market intelligence gathered to assist senior leadership in understanding relative performance and positioning.
+ Play a key role in corporate strategy initiatives, evaluating opportunities and risks of prospective organic and inorganic investment alternatives.
+ Cultivate a high performing team and culture focused on driving value, delivering results, stakeholder influence and leadership development for career progression.
Job Requirements:
+ 15+ years of experience in senior finance leadership roles
+ 10+ years in investor relations roles with responsibility for investor community engagement
+ 10+ years experience in people management and professional development, demonstrated ability to build, manage, develop and motivate a team
+ Extensive knowledge of public market investing ecosystem
+ Corporate treasury, commercial banking or related experience a plus

+ High intellect and ambition.

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $210,000 - $260,000 + annual bonus + equity. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
