WHO WE ARE:
REP designs world-class, innovative gym equipment that is sold around the world, and we are now expanding into apparel, supplements, athletes, and events. REP was established in 2012 by two brothers who shared a deep passion for fitness. From our humble beginnings of selling bumper plates out of a small garage, REP has experienced remarkable growth, now occupying over 300,000+ square feet of office and distribution space in the USA and internationally. With a dedicated team of over 150+ fitness enthusiasts, our mission is to "Improve Lives by Sharing our Passion for Strength." Our commitment to innovation, customer service, and value sets us apart.
We believe in building a culture centered around fitness, so we specialize in outfitting home gyms, commercial gyms, and strength and conditioning facilities. Our dedication to excellence has been recognized multiple times when we were featured in the Inc. 5000 fastest growing private companies in 2018 and 2021 and then voted the best home strength product launch in 2022 by Garage Gym Experiment. ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Vice President of Nutritional Products will lead our new nutritional products division at REP Fitness under the Purist brand. We've developed the first products-two protein bars and two flavors of whey protein. They've been well received internally and at a large tradeshow, with the official public launch coming soon in quarter four of 2024. As the name implies, we're going for premium ingredients and all-natural. Now, it's time for you to lead the way into the future and make the department a success! This is a unique opportunity in that it's a startup mentality but supported by an established company. There's no pressure to be instantly profitable, and we have both the marketing resources and operational footprint to take advantage of some scale on day one. In particular, the existing customer base of REP is an ideal target market with some fantastic cross-promotional opportunities. You will be responsible for leading the end-to-end product development process. You'll also need to have the vision and experience to know what works and what doesn't with protein and other nutritional products when it comes to product attributes, sales methods, and anything else required to be successful in the industry. You will be supported by the Co-CEO's and report directly to them. This role requires being on-site at REP in Colorado. We expect the department to grow, and we value the culture built at REP and the quick decisions and collaboration that best happens in-person.
