About the Job
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Vice President of Operations to lead our multi-facility nursing home organization. The VP of Operations will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies across multiple facilities, ensuring high-quality care and services are provided to our residents, and overseeing various departments such as nursing, rehabilitation, and support services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives across multiple facilities
- Oversee the management of all departments, including nursing, rehabilitation, dining, and housekeeping, across multiple facilities
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards across all facilities
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment across all facilities
- Develop and manage budgets and financial plans for multiple facilities
- Analyze and improve operational efficiency and productivity across all facilities
- Collaborate with other executives to develop and implement strategic plans
- Ensure excellent customer service and resident satisfaction across all facilities
- Manage and resolve conflicts and issues promptly across all facilities
- Travel regularly to visit facilities and meet with staff, residents, and stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in healthcare management, preferably in a multi-facility setting
- Proven leadership and management experience in a large healthcare organization
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and travel regularly
Certifications/Licenses:
- Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license or eligible
- Certified Nursing Home Administrator (CNHA) certification or eligible
Additional Requirements:
- Experience with electronic medical records and healthcare technology
- Strong data analysis and performance improvement skills
- Ability to lead and manage remote teams
- Experience with Joint Commission or other accreditation bodies
