Vice President of Operations (AISC Structural Steel)
We are looking for a dynamic leader who will guide company growth by engaging our stakeholders. The principal components of the position include the following areas: Business development, maintaining standards of excellence, reinforcing the company’s culture, building and leading the senior management team, and allocating capital in alignment with these goals. The VP is responsible for providing leadership by working with the CEO/President and other management to establish and implement effective business strategies, plans, and policies. They must also frequently review the effectiveness of these strategies and make adjustments as necessary.
Essential Functions:
- Optimize operational processes and procedures for maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and effectively
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, prospects, strategic partners, vendors, and suppliers to support the growth and stability of the business
- Ensure competitive pricing for services and material buy-outs based on periodic cost analyses and attentiveness to market standards
- Ensure fabrication, quality assurance, training, safety, purchasing, and sub-fabrication processes are current and implemented
Minimal Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years working in the Structural Steel Fabrication/Erection Industry
- Extensive knowledge of Structural Steel Erection and Precast erection
- Strong knowledge of AISC standards and codes
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite and willing or able to learn our other systems
