Are you an experienced sales professional with excellent communication skills and the energy and persuasiveness to grow a book of business in the transportation industry? This role will be part of our Commercial Sales Team, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, and focused entirely on prospecting and winning new dedicated business opportunities. A successful candidate will interface with our leadership, marketing, and operations teams to ensure we have a clear vision of the strengths we can deliver to customers while uncovering opportunities to grow. Collaboration with our leadership, marketing, customer service, and operations is essential to uncover the attributes we can deliver and bring to customers.
Essential Functions/Specific Responsibilities of Enterprise Sales Executive
- Prospect, nurture, and win new contractual dedicated business.
- Evaluate customer needs and provide solutions with our unique value proposition.
- Establish new relationships and generate revenue beyond dedicated services.
- Be a self-starter and results-driven.
- Engage prospects and discover the pain points we can solve to be a valuable partner for them.
- Demonstrate continual proactive decision-making ability and adaptability.
- Focus on economic solutions for the customer and profitability, allowing for an incentive plan with no limit to earn.
- Lead the pursuit of dedicated new business and expansion/renewal business as applicable.
- Coordinate the complete sales cycle process, including lead generation, prospect qualification, and leading the cross-functional pursuit team by providing clear direction on deal strategy: pricing, service, value proposition, and presentation message and medium.
- Develop a proposal plan of attack for potential dedicated deals.
- Prospect new brands and develop an industry network to build a pipeline.

Education and Experience Requirements of Enterprise Sales Executive
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Five or more years of transportation experience required
- Preference for three or more years of customer-facing related experience
