Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience20 years of experience in product management roles within the consumer devices product spaceExperience shipping consumer hardware productsExperience representing a technology brand and product line to external stakeholdersPreferred qualifications:Experience leading and scaling high-performing product management teams (60+), with a proven track record of successfully delivering consumer hardware products to a global marketStrong understanding of the consumer electronics landscape and competitive dynamics, particularly in the mobile and connected device spaceAbility to lead, mentor, and grow a team of product managersPassionate about developing mobile phones and portfolio devices Track record of challenging the status quo and creating innovative, successful products About the job Google is looking for a VP of Product Management to be the thought leader and driving power behind the Pixel Ecosystem of products and Tensor silicon, including phones, tablets, watches, buds, and silicon
In this role, you will develop the vision, product roadmap, and desired outcomes for the Pixel ecosystem (including any future category decisions), and be responsible for making strategic decisions on priorities, leading cross-organizational collaborations, and delivering high quality, impactful launches
You will work in lockstep with key cross-functional partners and stakeholders to deliver differentiated experiences for Pixel users across hardware, software, and AI
In addition, you will also be responsible for our silicon direction, definition, and future experiences.As part of this role, you will represent Pixel to internal and external partners and tech reviewers, be an advocate for Pixel, and work closely with Marketing to determine feature direction and highlights; as such, you be able to interface successfully with the Press, C-level execs within Google, and at partner companies
