Responsibilities:
- Lead the Social and Digital Investment practice for a group of accounts, overseeing a group of ~50 professionals across New York, LA, Toronto and remote. The Investment team owns all media buying, optimization and analytics, with the primary focus on driving best in class performance and return for F500 clients.
- All media is bought in house and optimized using Decoded’s proprietary experimental approach. The VP is responsible for ensuring flawless execution of the Decoded media buying approach, while also pushing forward the practices of the team and agency.
- Set the bar for business strategy, performance analysis and investment strategy across the team and agency, acting as the go to resource for the most advanced media and business challenges our clients and teams face.
- Provide senior presence in all forms of client interaction from day-to-day managers to the CEO/CMO/VP level. Earn clients trust to manage 9 figure investments in Digital and Social
- Analyze and streamline investment team operations, improving efficiency and workflows.
- Manage and optimize resourcing across the team, overseeing candidate pipelines and the interview process.
- Set the roadmap and oversee the professional development and skills development of all Social and Digital analysts.
- Contribute as a key leader across Decoded to agency-wide vision and initiatives.
About You
The essentials:
- 10+ years of experience buying media at scale in both Social and Programmatic, against both performance and brand based KPIs
- A proven track record of turning business problems into business solutions using data, automation, and statistics
- Proficiency with emerging and leading industry Social Platforms
- Proficiency with emerging and leading programmatic DSPs
- Understanding of core statistical concepts, including Hypothesis Testing, confidence interval probability distributions, time series analysis
- Experience with advanced analytical toolsets (e.g. SQL, R,or Python) are a plus

Media.Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Media.Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
Salary Range $200,000—$230,000 USD
