How you’ll make an impact:
SiriusXM is seeking a visionary leader to oversee our Subscriber Revenue Strategy team. This role is responsible for developing strategies to grow and protect SiriusXM's revenue over the long term—independent of subscriber growth—through data analysis, governance, and innovation. As the key advocate for revenue health across the organization, the VP will champion shared goals and ensure accountability through cross-functional partnerships in a matrixed environment.
What you’ll do:
Revenue Management & Governance: Own and manage core revenue KPIs through dynamic dashboards, executive presentations, and progress tracking. Drive the alignment and execution of revenue goals across SiriusXM, ensuring integration with all departments. Govern and track usage of offers across the organization to ensure they meet strategic objectives and align with revenue targets.
Team Leadership: Lead a lean team of Strategists, Analysts, and Operations professionals to mitigate revenue risk, optimize ARPU and topline revenue, and ensure the successful implementation of new initiatives. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
Product Collaboration: Partner with product managers to translate business needs into actionable product requirements. Ensure cross-functional teams are aligned and timelines are well-integrated to meet shared objectives.
Pricing Strategy: Conceptualize and assess new pricing models that cater to diverse audience demands at various price points. Lead the exploration of innovative pricing structures that enhance SiriusXM’s value proposition, while ensuring offers and promotions are strategically aligned with long-term revenue goals.
Value Proposition Enhancement: Evaluate and operationalize value-adds that bolster the SiriusXM value prop and sustain long-term revenue growth.
Revenue Innovation: Develop and implement new metrics to monitor the health of SiriusXM’s revenue base. Lead efforts to establish long-term ARPU optimization strategies.
Cross-functional Advocacy: Act as the revenue advocate across the organization, ensuring that all teams understand, support, and contribute to revenue goals through shared accountability.
What you’ll need:
15+ years of experience in a related role, with a strong background in data-driven strategy, revenue management, and cross-functional leadership in a highly matrixed environment
8+ years demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams toward achieving strategic goals
Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred.
Expertise in subscription services, with a preference for experience in media, streaming, or similar industries
Strong collaboration skills, with a track record of working closely with product, marketing, and finance teams to drive business outcomes
Knowledge of revenue governance, pricing strategy, offer management, and operationalizing product innovations
Visionary, analytical thinker capable of anticipating challenges and generating creative solutions
Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $193,000 to $265,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
