Job Summary:
The Vice President, Talent Management will spearhead the strategies, processes, and roadmaps that drive the acquisition, development, and retention of talent for Monarch Landscape Companies. This role will also lead the company's internal mobility programming, succession planning, and develop proprietary talent channels to ensure the growth and development of high-potential employees across the organization. Key focus areas include recruiting, talent assessment, employee development, culture building, and evaluating people and culture at potential new investments.
Core Responsibilities:
- Proprietary Talent Channels: Create and develop proprietary channels for sourcing, tracking, and developing talent.
- Lead Talent Management Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive talent strategy focusing on employee retention, succession planning, internal mobility, and talent development.
- Leadership Development: Implement leadership development strategies, programs, and processes aligned with the company’s objectives.
- Talent Cycle Components: Design and implement leadership programs, career paths, career development planning, and map talent strategies to support business growth.
- Internal Mobility Programming: Create pathways for internal talent movement, ensuring employees have opportunities for career growth within the organization.
- Succession Planning: Develop and manage a succession planning process to identify and prepare future leaders.
- Candidate Experience: Drive a world-class candidate experience and foster strong partnerships with executives, hiring managers, and HR partners to implement effective recruiting strategies.
- Retention & Accountability: Build a system of increased accountability around retention, focusing on the quality of hires throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Compensation Programs: Oversee the Company’s compensation program, ensuring it aligns with market trends, internal equity, and supports talent growth and retention.
- Strategic Execution: Spearhead strategic plans and monitor outcomes, developing high-level implementation plans with metrics.
- Talent Analytics: Leverage data to inform talent acquisition strategies, movement, and succession planning.
- Diversity & Inclusion: Drive initiatives around diversity and inclusion, ensuring they are integrated into talent acquisition and retention strategies.
- Performance Management: Standardize performance management processes, including talent calibration, succession planning, and development plans.
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in Talent Management or Talent Development, with a proven track record of driving transformational improvements in a high-growth environment.
- Expertise in talent management, including leadership development, talent analytics, high-impact learning programs, performance management, and succession planning.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion best practices.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence executives and managers.
- Ability to architect and implement large-scale changes, translating complex business needs into actionable HR strategies.
- Strong business acumen, critical thinking, and leadership skills, with experience developing diverse teams.

Pay range: $200,000 - $250,000
