Education Requirements: Victim Services Advocate Coordinator must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and university.
Duties / Responsibilities: Advocate Coordinator is responsible for Advocacy, Documentation, and Case Management of victims of rape, sexual abuse/assault, Prison Rape Elimination Act, Domestic Abuse, Intimate Partner Violence, Human Trafficking and Childhood Abuse. Advocate Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the program through recruitment, training, scheduling and reviewing of advocates. Advocate coordinator is required to develop a training module and appropriately document mandatory training hours for each advocate. Advocate Coordinator will be comfortable with public speaking and presentations. Advocate Coordinator will compile and report statistical data required by internally within RTVS, KASAP, and VOCA regulations. Advocate Coordinator must be able to relate in a non-threatening manner to victims, communicate with them and members of their family, and work with other members of their family, and work with other members of of the staff in a cooperative manner, inject new and innovative ideas in the operation of the program, and maintain a sense of calmness in a crisis situation, and act appropriately in the situation.
Skills / Knowledge: Victim Services Advocate Coordinator will have 40 hours of mandated training in the area of rape and sexual assault and 8 hours of continuing education annually, on issues of rape and sexual abuse. Advocate Coordinator will have training in domestic abuse, intimate partner violence, human trafficking, and childhood abuse in addition to rape and sexual abuse training.

2. Maintain Statistical Data for RVS, KASAP, and VOCA Reports
