About the Job
Our client is in need of a Video Product Deployment Project Manager to lead, oversee and manage the integration and deployment of the HD-DTA for Business Services. The scope includes supporting the Project from a deployment and integration management perspective and will include the following activities for assigned initiatives:
Draft deployment strategy approach on behalf of the Business Owner
Assist in the management of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLCM) Process
Draft Business Scope and Approach (BSA) document with input from Product Management, Product Engineering, Systems Engineering, Care, Sales/Sales Ops, Marketing and Tech Operations as required.
Develop and manage the Project Plan, Action Item and Issue log for cross-functional teams engaged in the Project
Work with the business requirements team to understand the desired functionality and process flows.
Work with Division PMO to obtain Division approval and alignment, obtain deployment resource support and ensure proper setup of production environment
Work closely with division leadership, and the national teams including Sales Ops, Order Management, Tech Ops, Customer Care, and Engineering to ensure cross functional alignment around schedule and priority while working to resolve any discrepancies
Overseeing the market deployment readiness activities, coordinating with our client's University, Business Readiness Testing Team, Divisional/Regional engineering and technical operations and local market resources for system testing and readiness, resource training as well as other relevant market launch activities.
Lead deployment meetings, maintaining action registers and project plans, managing issues to resolution.
Monitor and evaluate change requests and budget impacts related to the schedule and priorities
Develop and distribute key communications documents
Review Quality Analysis and BRT results and provide input into Market Trial planning
Assist in the Business Readiness Testing (BRT) of business use cases to validate production system readiness.
Support the initial triage and analysis of defects during test execution. Manage and track the assignment of defects that are escalated to the support teams
Required Skills/Experience
Strong background in managing video project deployments
OSS/BSS applications (provisioning, billing, order management, care), as well as strong project management experience.
Candidate must work well in a fast paced cross functional project environment.
Experience with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
Preferred Skills/Experience
Knowledge of conditional access, Arris and Cisco controllers, addressability, CSG and Amdocs biller video authorization, channel mapping and channel lineups is preferred
