Position Overview
Pantheon Data is seeking a talented and experienced Videographer/Broadcaster to provide comprehensive audiovisual support for a variety of high-profile events, including videotaped productions, podcasts, blogs, and multimedia content creation. This role demands proficiency in photography, lighting techniques, and expertise with tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud Production Premium, AVS Video Converter, and screen capture software.
Responsibilities
The Videographer/Broadcaster will be responsible for capturing and editing high-quality video content for a range of events, ensuring videos adhere to industry standards and meet accessibility requirements, including Section 508 compliance. This role involves the creation of dynamic, broadcast-quality video content, including documentaries, news features, social media videos, and promotional materials. The videographer will also manage audio recording, utilize advanced lighting techniques, and ensure all produced content is adaptable for multiple platforms, including digital signage, websites, and social media. A strong background in using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and other Creative Suite tools will be essential for producing polished, cinematic-quality final edits and incorporating graphic elements, motion graphics, special effects, and animations into video content. Additionally, the role will require setting up video and audio support for events requiring A/V solutions and ensuring that all final products reflect the intended message with professionalism and quality.
- Provide comprehensive support for videotaped events or podcasts or blogs, or other events.
- Produce high-quality videos for the specified events.
- Capture the essence of each event.
- Edit the captured footage into an audiovisual product, adhering to established Industry audiovisual standards.
- Ensure the videos are professionally edited to reflect the intended message and capture the essence of the events.
- Ensure the produced videos adhere to relevant standards.
- Conform to Section 508 standards, ensuring accessibility for a diverse audience.
- Ensure quality and professionalism.
- Produce videos that are adaptable to multiple mediums.
- Ensure that the videos are suitable for deployment across diverse platforms such as digital signage, websites, social media, and other communication products.
- Edit and produce all videos to a national broadcast quality level as well as DVD quality for the organization, including but not limited to: documentaries, human-interest features, news minutes, commercials, sizzle reels, narratives, short-form social media videos, and other promotional and advanced storytelling content.
- Use Adobe Creative Cloud Application - Adobe Premiere and After Effects and Photoshop to deliver polished, detail-oriented final edits with cinema-quality audio weaving, creative shot selection, surprise elements, and dynamic sequencing.
- Shoot national broadcast-level video using advanced studio lighting systems, three-point lighting, available light and portable lighting tools such as reflectors and flags.
- Record professional video and audio of interviews, events, commercials, documentaries, trailers, narratives, short-form social media content, sizzle reels, and other promotional videos using shotgun boom mics, wireless lavaliers, and handheld gimbals using creative cinematic techniques, framing, lighting, and sound.
- Deliver sequencing options for the Government editor and in accordance with guidance from the Government producer to deliver Industry-standard video that tells a story.
- Provide editing support using the Adobe Creative Suite to edit footage and interviews into a broadcast-level video for national release.
- Design and produce national Industry-level motion design graphics and illustrations for a variety of video products to include commercials, short form vertical reels, sizzle reels, social media, films, documentaries, and other promotional and storytelling products.
- Conceptualize and create special effects, 3D renderings, artwork, bumpers, opens and closes and incorporate graphic elements into video with techniques such as tracking, masking, textures, lighting, shading, and compositing.
- Use a variety of Adobe Creative Suite software - Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other resources to create animations, transitions, logos, jump backs, lower thirds and other design elements.
- Set up as needed video and audio support to events that required A/V support.
Required Skills and Experience
- Adobe Creative Cloud Production Premium, Microsoft Office Professional, AVS Video Converter, and screen capture software.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in fine arts, communications, graphic design, or animation OR three (3) years related experience in the organizing, writing, storyboarding, shooting, editing, lighting, and producing audio visual projects, pod casts, and slide shows with sound accompaniments with a knowledge of the equipment, techniques, and processes of photography, lighting techniques, 508 closed captioning, podcasts and digital reproduction techniques.
Clearance Requirements
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Work Location
Hybrid - Dahlgren, VA; onsite 4 days per week
