JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
PRIMARY PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Remote - Employee must reside within U.S. territory. In certain instances, employees in remote-designated positions may be required to live in a specific region or time zone to effectively support customers or clients as part of their role.
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour plus benefits
Clearance Level Required: Must be able to pass a Federal Background check.

Job Title: Transcript Proofreader Support
REQUIRED AND DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Familiar with formatting in Word - margins, indents, headers/footers
- Attention to detail.
- High school diploma
- Previous experience working in an office environment and must have prior court related history with working with various proceedings
- Assume responsibility for meticulously editing and reviewing transcriptions against provided audio, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to client-specified style and formatting guidelines. Trim raw audio.
- Previous legal transcriptionist experience.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and setting up MS Teams meetings, monitoring the court calendar in Outlook
- Working knowledge of Excel – make all updates/changes in court schedule spreadsheet
- and keeping track of corresponding events in tracking spreadsheets to ensure deadlines are met
- Trimming incoming audio files for transcription staff
- Assigning trimmed audio files to transcription staff and keeping assignment tracking up to date, maintain efficient workflow
- Assisting with proofreading of court transcripts
- Formatting final proofread court documents in preparation for delivery, return of completed projects, and archiving
- Communicate in a clear and professional manner with clientele
- Maintain clear and regular communication with typists, proofreaders, and other administrative co-workers
- May be assigned to orientation or training of co-workers
- Perform other duties of a similar nature or level
