Job Summary:
The Visual Copywriter will play a key role in supporting Wellinks' marketing and enterprise-wide initiatives by delivering both compelling copy and creative visual assets. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing Wellinks' copywriting and design strategy for both B2B and B2C audiences, ensuring projects align with business objectives and are completed on time and within budget.
This role will also involve managing outsourced vendors, including digital vendors for social media and marketing campaigns where appropriate. For more complex graphic design needs, the Visual Copywriter will define the project’s creative scope, and provide creative direction to the outside vendor.
Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging and persuasive copy for a variety of channels, including social media, email campaigns, landing pages, and other marketing materials.
- Proofread and edit copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all communications.
- Support the creation and execution of content strategies.
- Conduct research to understand our target audience, industry trends, and competitive landscape to inform and enhance copywriting efforts.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of copy to continually optimize and improve engagement and conversion rates through testing and experimentation.
- Develop compelling integrated creative ideas based on strategies, write scripts, posts, headlines and copy that shows Wellinks being recognized as a leader in COPD management.
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, ensuring grammatical and factual accuracy.
- Create visual content, including presentations, social media graphics, and other marketing collateral that align with our brand and goals.
- Work with external vendors, such as printers, digital agencies and freelancers, to produce high-quality marketing materials.
- Maintain clean file management within applications for easy access and organization.
- Manage company social media presence including Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Revise copy and design elements based on feedback to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Maintain consistency in tone, style, and visual elements across all platforms.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously, managing time effectively to meet deadlines.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in copywriting
- Strong writing/editing skills
- A strong creative flair with the ability to generate innovative copy
- Ensures accuracy in both copy and design
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- A collaborative mindset with a willingness to take direction and contribute to team efforts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- 1 or more years’ experience creating basic graphic designs
- Familiarity in planning, copywriting and executing social media
- B2B and B2C marketing experience
- Healthcare and start-up experience recommended, but not required
