Voice Engineer - Venteon

Our Client is looking for a VOICE ENGINEER located in Auburn Hills, MI.

Duration: 6 months+

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide day to day operational support of multiple Cisco CUCM clusters and associated applications. This includes change, release, performance, configuration, administration, and availability management of the associated infrastructure components.

1. Incident analysis and troubleshooting tier 2-3 level of Cisco CUCM, CUPS, CER, Unity, and UCCE applications
2. Incident analysis and troubleshooting tier 2-3 level SIP, CUBE, MGCP, QoS, and sRTP
3. Coordination of testing and issue resolution with end clients, Cisco TAC, and MS vendor resources
4. Audit of applications to insure compliance with standards
5. 24x7 On-Call rotation responsibilities
6. End client consulting for telecom applications
7. Change and Request management execution

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university and 5 years of technical experience or 10 years of technical work experience
• 5 years strategy development and planning experience
• CCNP-Collaboration or CCNP-Voice or equivalent experience
• Cisco Emergency Responder experience
• Cisco UCCE experience
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environment
• Demonstrated ability to systematically troubleshoot problems in a complex network environment
• Develop and implement strategies for a highly redundant and available network for day to day operations
• Develop and maintain a disaster recovery procedure to support business continuity
