Seeking a Cisco networking expert with integrator or solution provider experience (not a pre-sale engineer) with extensive implementation and troubleshooting expertise in routing and switching, network security and IP Telephony

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead design and implementation of wide range of Cisco networking solution for internal and external customers

Deliver complete technology solutions and provide post-installation technical support. The candidate must be able to analyze business needs and implement complete solutions that meet business requirements.

• Develop and implement operational procedures for proactive monitoring of the company networking data and telecommunications infrastructure
• Serve as a technical lead for the internal networking team providing training and coaching on new technologies and best operational practices
• The job will require occasional travel in NYC Metro area

Projects and tasks will include but not limited to:
o High availability Datacenter Design & Implementation
o Cisco IP Telephony, SIP and QoS implementation. monitoring and maintenance
o BGP Design & Deployment
o OSPF Core Implementation
o Network Virtualization && Multi-VRF Environments
o Security Policy Development
o DMZ Design and Implementation
o PIX & ASA Firewalls installation and optimization (must know HA and multi-context configurations)
o Vulnerability and security risk assessment and patching
o Wireless network design ( NAC + 802.1x) and implementation
o CVO, MPLS, GET-VPN, WAAS, and Video teleconferencing
o Complete solution delivery including patch cables, labeling, and network diagrams and documentation
o Participation in formal change management processes

Skills & Requirements:

• 12+ years in Cisco networking including experience with Cisco Nexus 5000 and Nexus 7000.
• Proven expertise in design, implementation and maintenance of complex network solutions that ensure high security and end-user transparency, while maintaining rigorous operational service levels.
• Routing and Switching CCIE ((written and lab exams) is a minimum certification requirement
• Expertise in WAN and Telco
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Cisco security solutions
• Cisco IPT (VoIP) experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• The candidate must be self-motivated and capable of multitasking under pressure
