G-Squared Partners has retained the executive search services of ORS Partners to assist them in filling a Vice President of Business Development for their Fort Washington, PA-based company.
Founded in 2012, G-Squared Partners grew from a desire to provide entrepreneurs, startups, and emerging growth companies with the advantages of complete and accurate financial information with which they could make better decisions on how to grow and run their businesses. Over time, the business has evolved into a complete outsourced finance function providing professional services at a fraction of the cost of a full-time internal team.
The Vice President of Business Development will play a crucial role in driving the company's strategic growth by leveraging an extensive network to open new doors and establish meaningful connections. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating opportunities, building relationships, and contributing to G-Squared Partners' expansion and success.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Networking: Utilize a robust network and industry connections to uncover and secure new business opportunities. Develop and execute strategies to build relationships with law firms, banks, private equity firms, venture capitalists, and accounting firms.
- Relationship Management: Foster and sustain long-term relationships with key partners and stakeholders. Serve as the primary liaison for high-level strategic discussions and negotiations.
- Market Expansion: Identify and analyze market trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes. Collaborate with internal teams to align business development strategies with company goals.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business development plans that align with our strategic objectives. Report on progress and results to the executive team.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive growth and innovation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing partners to execute strategic campaigns that amplify our brand presence and drive lead generation. Align these initiatives with overall business development goals to ensure cohesive messaging and maximize impact across all channels.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required, and intellectual curiosity and a broad worldview are highly valued.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in business development, demonstrating a successful track record of relationship-building and network expansion.
- Networking Skills: Proven ability to open doors and establish significant connections. An established network within law firms, banks, private equity, venture capital, and accounting firms is essential.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a proactive approach to navigating complex business environments and crafting innovative solutions.
- Growth-Oriented: A mindset geared towards growth and development, with the ability to evolve alongside the organization.
- Hybrid Work Schedule: This role requires an on-site presence in Fort Washington, PA several days/week.
