POSITION DETAIL

Located in Austin, Texas, LCRA Credit Union, with $21 million in assets, is currently in search of a new Vice President/Controller to oversee the accounting and finance functions of this two-branch operation. Reporting directly to the President/CEO this individual will work in partnership with the CEO to strategically and tactically manage the credit union.  Responsibilities will include general accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, ALM and compliance.  The successful candidate will have finance and accounting experience within a credit union or financial institution, experience in dealing with external auditors and regulators, and have an understanding of retail banking operations.  Please include reference number 1546 when applying.

LCRA Credit Union was chartered in 1940 and has been serving members for over 80 years. The credit union has over 2,100 members and two branch locations in Austin and LaGrange, Texas. Membership at the credit union is open to employees, board members, and city council members of the Lower Colorado River Authority and/or its wholesale customers; persons who live, work, attend school, or worship in, and businesses located within a 10-mile radius of LCRA CU’s office; employees and board members of the San Bernard Electric Coop; employees and board members of the Housing Authority of the City of Luling; members and friends of the Colorado River Foundation; employees of the County of Fayette; and employees of St. Mark’s Medical Center.
